Extension Rules (Article 12(3))

• Standard deadline: 1 calendar month (30 days) from receipt of a valid request.
• Extension: Up to 2 additional months if the request is complex or you receive multiple requests from the same data subject.
• Notification required: You must inform the data subject within the first 30 days if you need an extension, explaining the reasons for the delay.
• Identity verification: The clock does not start until identity is reasonably verified. You may request additional information within the first few days.
• Refusal: If you refuse a request, you must inform the data subject within 30 days with reasons and their right to complain to a supervisory authority.
